Join us for a three week series, How to Survive a Zombie attack. During this time, middle and high school students will explore how to have a new life in Jesus Christ as they examine the writings of Romans, 2 Corinthians, Ephesians, and Colossians.

The Well Project is our desire to be the embodiment of Jesus Christ. It is our goal to provide a community in Zambia, Africa with a well that will supply many with safe water. The project will exceed $5,000, and will be accomplished through future partnerships with Active Water and Blood Water Mission. Our hope is, by providing safe water, many will exchange the empty wells of lesser gods for the full well of a greater God.

Q:

What should my student pack?

A:

A Bible. Seriously, the number one thing students forget is a Bible followed by deodorant.  Make sure your student has both! You can find out more of the nitty gritty by downloading a .PDF of our Move Magazine. In the magazine you will find a complete packing list.

Q: Does my student need bedding?

A:

Yes. While a a bed is provided, sheets and a pillow are not. The dorms are kept very cool in Carbondale and cannot be controlled by occupants. Therefore, a student may need a sleeping bag or heavy blanket to stay warm. Who are you kidding? We both know students don’t sleep on these events.

Q:

Does my student need spending money?

A:

Yes. Money for three meals and a souvenir is more than adequate.

Q:

What happens at C.I.Y. Move?

A:

There is a lot that happens in a week at C.I.Y. Move, so much that we don’t want to type it out. Luckily, the good folks at Christ in Youth did. Follow this link to the C.I.Y. Move website.
